Something very interesting about the birth of our universe is the fundamental forces, so there are 4 forces, right? The electromagnetic, gravity, the strong and the weak nuclear force. Early in the universe's existance the weak force and the electromagnetic force were not two distinct forces, they were one and the same (the electroweak force), this discovery opens up the possibility that there once only was one single force - a super force if you will.
