@senditcycleshop: People keep asking if regen braking charges your battery. Not really. Regen turns the motor into a small generator when you let off the throttle and it slows the bike down. Instead of wasting that energy as heat in the brakes, a little bit goes back into the battery. Most of the time regen just helps slow you down, reduces brake wear, and gives you a tiny efficiency boost. It doesn’t magically refill your battery. The only time you’ll see noticeable charging is if you’re coasting down a really long hill. Otherwise it’s just recovering a small amount of energy you already used. #surron #regen #emoto #battery #sendit
