I don’t understand why 26hr shifts are allowed for doctors/ nurses. You have the most precious thing to look after, people lives, and the system is set up for you not look after your own health 😢

Is there no push for reform for you guys? 26 hours straight isn’t safe. I’m a pilot & we have very strict work/rest requirements that are federally mandated. Doctors & other healthcare workers should have similar laws!!

As someone who takes a long time to finish iced coffee, I recommend the Frost Buddy (I know i know another product but it is worth it if you drink iced a lot!)

These shifts should be illegal to work, you’d be so exhausted you wouldn’t be at the best of your abilities. Do you get time to have a good sleep or do you have to try and stay awake the whole time??
