I couldn’t graduate after finishing my RN program because of the exit exam. I sent all my paperwork to the Board of Nursing and I was able to challenge the LPN NCLEX and pass at 85 questions first try. To them if I couldn’t pass the exit I wouldn’t do well on the NCLEX.

My nursing school did this. They tied it to a course so they could fail you if you don't pass it

My school requires a 900 on the exit hesi exam I got an 896…I have to repeat the whole course and take it again

its awful. I had a 4.0 but if I failed the exit test I couldn't sit for NCLEX! I test bad it was so much stress. Also they dont teach you enough lets get back to on job training. I lucky barely passed. (90%) 😳

They don’t want you to ruin their precious pass rate for the NCLEX..when really you might still pass the NCLEX but just fail by one point that stupid predictor test. It should be illegal

The even sadder part is the students are still on the hook for those loans. This is why they wait til the end. They would've already been paid and the student ends up with nothing.

Wait but it was my understanding that if you do not pass the nclex the first time the school loses their accreditation. If this is the case wouldn’t this be justified? If they can’t pass the exit exam they probably won’t pass the nclex? This was the reason I thought.

That happened to me I had to retake the class 3 time even when I pass the class because I couldn’t pass the hesi I had to retake the class three times.
