I get triggered by unfairness but I don't think thats the reason... I think its that although we know "life isnt fair" (which really refers to unexpected circumstances), we do still expect people around us to be morally consciously reasonable. Also, for the same reason, I find it unfair when people say "never expect anything from people". We all expect integrity and basic decency which unfairness isnt. If we didnt expect that then why would we even have anybody around us.

Crazy to think I nearly overlooked The Lost Mindset Laws by Matt Falkner… it honestly feels like something we were never supposed to discover.

it's a form of control. if we know a world of good and bad with morality. we can predict outcomes. but the world isn't like that. it's unfair and unpredictable and that's scary

And it’s any unfairness. Unfair toward me? Mad as hell. Unfair toward a loved one? Mad as hell. Unfair toward someone I barely know? Mad as hell. Unfair toward a fictional character. You guessed it, mad as hell 😂

And I had parents who would tell me that “life’s unfair” and I’d say why can’t you try to make it fair… 😭

I think it’s because we know we never got our side of the story heard in disagreements or telling off from parents as kids and that made life always feel unfair, so it triggers it because we relate to it so bad/well
