@kcra3news: Is it really still winter? Northern California weather this week would like a word. Plan for a comfortable Monday morning as Valley temperatures start out in the upper 40s/low 50s. A mostly sunny day is ahead with afternoon highs in the Valley reaching the mid/upper 80s. The Foothills can expect afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Even the Sierra will be warm with highs near 70 degrees in Truckee. Highs are likely to run 15-20 degrees above normal with similar conditions forecast through Friday. Several records will be close, if not broken Monday and throughout the week, possibly even all-time records for the month of March. Thursday and Friday will likely be the warmest days, with some Valley neighborhoods seeing afternoon highs in the low 90s. There are no rain or snow chances in the 7-day forecast.
