I have a 2017 ford f150 and every now and then it will shift from 1st to 3rd to 5th right when I first start driving it. Especially on a cool, damp day. What do you think that may be?

As a retired dealer tech, this is FACT! Always always have a paper trail with details as stated. I hate to be blunt but this could end up being a dealer out and put the consumer on the hook. There is unfortunately a dark side to dealer world, this just scratches the surface. Great topic, great content guys!!

I have this issue with electrical for an insurance claim for my 16 Silverado. Turns my entire electrical system down power steering also. Scary af.

I had to take our Expedition to a different dealership to warranty the timing job because the first one was adamant that it didn't need it.. It was completely obvious, they just didn't want to do the job.

yep I had a 92 chevy truck. the transmission had an issue. took it in they said it was normal. 5k later it wouldn't drive. they said I should have brought it in sooner. I pulled out my receipt and showed them I did. they were not happy.

My fiancé and I did this exact thing we took vehicle in for 100,000 mile once over dealership said everything was fine 3 months later motor blew and we specifically said there was an issue with the motor they said they couldn’t duplicate it well it cost that dealership 16,000 to replace the motor

not a mechanic but a service technician. I tell the customer if possible get a video of it making a noise or the equipment shaking/freaking out.

I had this happened two times both with Fords where the dealers told me they were unable to find the problem so I both times I notified the district offices for Ford and they were both taken care of promptly

If you were buying a 2025 F150 (they have 0% interest for 60 months now) What engine is good. We are so afraid to trade in right now with all of the engine and transmission problems with so many of these pickups. Or should we go with something else. I love watching your channel. I know there are problems with GM too. Rams?

My jeep is under warranty and of all the dealerships I've taken it to for all its issues only 1 dealership will give me a ticket every time I take it in and they are the only one I like now

I purchased a Chrysler “lifetime “ Maxcare warranty for my 2015 jeep wrangler . The last time I took it in for repair at 95 k miles and now they are saying the lifetime maxcare warranty expires at 100k or ten years . Lifetime means lifetime is advertised on the warranty contract . What the hell ?

Got this going on now. Have a f150 with a bad vibration. Been to ford shop in wheeling wv 5 times. They acknowledged the vibration but don’t have a clue what’s causing it. Bout $700 out of pocket cause they said it was tires and other things that isn’t under warranty
