@z4v13r__: I mean this in the most respectful way possible and at the end of the day it’s MY personal opinion 彡 Nonbinaries fall into this as well but not as much due to the lack of gender identity #xyzbca #fyp #viral #capcut #rant
I’m so confused trying to understand she/her gays or he/ him lesbians bc a lot of people are saying gender isn’t the same as pronouns, It makes no sense to me no matter how hard I try to understand, I agree with this video

Exactly as you said, since when do people follow the "social norm" it's okay to be a female and use he/him pronouns. BUT! If you present yourself as female, please except people to assume you're female until you've spoken otherwise!! If someone calls you by she/her and you tell them otherwise that you go by he/him, they/them, ect. THEN that's completely on them if they keep using your incorrect pronouns. Pronouns don't always equal gender

Pronouns don’t ALWAYS equal gender some peoples gender is different from the pronouns make them feel comfortable and that’s ok! If you try to choose there gender for them that’s transphobic

no it equals being feminine, masculine, or androgynous.. not man, woman or nonbinary.

you aren’t using that term correctly that’s why. When people say “pronouns don’t equal gender” they mean he/him≠boy and she/her≠girl and they/them≠enby. You’re missing very important context

Pronouns are used to refer to the person present, and not the gender. The reason they're assigned to gender is because of social norms.

It doesn’t always equal gender, I’m allowed to dress feminine, I don’t truly care if someone misgenders me at first, it’s fine! But I’m going to correct them, if they blatantly disrespect them that’s when there is a problem, a lot of times saying pronouns ≠ gender is meaning things such as the fact I go by it/its, i don’t consider myself a gender that aligns with said pronouns, I am a trans man, but it makes me feel right and safe, I go by he/him too though

What if someone’s pronouns is any and they were born as male/female? Would they be referred to by any?

guys, I just wanna be androgynous 😭 (also are we expecting random people to use the correct pronouns if they don’t know? I don’t care what pronouns random people use because I don’t care about those random people. If you’re a close friend of mine please use my preferred pronouns. That’s all I ask.)

I’m a trans guy who doesn’t make myself to look masc. Why? Because it’s how I’m comfortable. I know I’ll be misgendered because of how I look. So I always correct people I know personally. If it’s a random stranger I’ll forget about then I’ll just not say anything. :)
