I get this point but I respectfully disagree. A healthy long term relationship requires choice. Stay long enough in a relationship and you will surely lose the spark some day as we get used to one another. That is why love is a choice, not just a feeling. And communication is key. Both have to decide to choose one another still, and talk it out, and communicate on how the spark can potentially be brought back. And in some sense, real, long term love, can honestly be boring. Just like how staying home is "boring" compared to a vacation.

Late Night :

I was the one who let go. I love my ex so much but our relationship wasnt getting better. Our problems werent healing and I was the one doing a majority of the work to fix it. I had to walk away for myself and I hate it. I love this girl so much but I knew our relationship wouldnt sustain itself
