I learned about Rachel in college in 2006 when we did "My Name is Rachel Corrie" (which was put together by Alan Rickman from her letters and journal.) This should be required reading for students

Thanks for remembering her. Younger generations don’t know that when she died the story was quickly ignored or buried in the media. There was no social media back then. It’s great to hear that people in generation Z are learning who she was.

i work with the Rachel Corrie Foundation here in Olympia, her parents are some of the kindest people I have ever met. they keep her spirit alive through activism in her name and regularly send out newsletters that contain sections of her letters.
