@brock.swinson: Ben Burtt discusses the origin of Hollywood's famously inauthentic gun silencer sound in this excerpt from Royal Armouries' YouTube video featuring Jonathan Ferguson. The legendary Star Wars sound designer reveals how the iconic ""pew"" or muffled pop heard in movies differs dramatically from real suppressed firearms. Burtt's insights demonstrate how sound design prioritizes audience expectations and dramatic effect over realism, creating audio signatures that become more recognizable than authentic sounds. His work established conventions that defined how millions perceive suppressed weapons despite bearing little resemblance to reality. Credit: indepthsounddesign

Es casi lo mismo. En un en entorno similar con mas personas, su ruido y el del ambiente ni se escucharía ni seria lo suficientemente notorio como para llamar la atencion
