I used to block the managers & office number when I was on breaks and when I clocked off. I unblocked when I started my next shift. They used to call everyone at 6am looking for cover. Nope

If the expectation is that I am available when I’m on break, then my expectation is that I’m paid for that break. If the break is unpaid, I simply do not exist for the entirety of that time.
