I remember asking my second grade teacher what happened to all the ppl who were here before the 13 colonies got here she told me there were no one on the land it was barren when they got here, then I asked then why are there ppl here now? She said oh they came over later, and helped build everything up as a community, then went their separate ways. I said that doesn’t make sense after that I was in timeout for questioning her. Mind you that was around 1993 when I asked.

Waldo was a tribe from Arkansas , which my great great great grandfather an his family was apart of.. they name later got changed into cado / washatah aka washitaw, when many years after relocating

I’m digging into my geneaology so i can know for sure but I have HUGE feeling these were some of my ancestors, the Caddoans. I’ve been able to trace 6 whole generations on BOTH sides of my family all the way back to the 1800s to the lands around Caddo lake
