I worked for an HVAC company. the minute you smell propane you should be calling the fire department and your propane provider. with that furnace the techs at my old company would have shut it down Immediately

How did someone even get to the point of paying for an inspection?! I would see some of that stuff during a showing and turn around and leave. I've walked out of showings for less.

Buyers: third party inspections from a reputable accredited property inspector will save you from investing in a money pit. New builds aren’t exempt, either.

Is there any kind of like 'mandated reporter' things for inspectors? Like if the inspection goes a certain way of 'bad' the inspection report legally HAS to be given to the city or code enforcement for safety?
