@avery.elizbeth: cinnamon buns & a recipe for a rainy day 🤍 for the dough: - 1 pckg instant yeast - 1 c warm milk - 1/2 c sugar - 4 c flour - 6 tbsp soft butter - 1 tsp salt - 1 egg - proof yeast in milk, then mix the above (adding flour slowly) into a dough, then knead in the mixer or by hand for 10 mins, let dough rise for an hour for the filling: - 8 tbsp soft butter - 1 c brown sugar - 4 tbsp cinnamon - mix together, then roll out dough into a rectangle 1’ x 1.5’, spread filling, then roll into a log, cut into 12 pieces, put rolls in a buttered pan and let rise for another hour, then bake at 350 for 25 mins (mine were forgotten about for a few extra minutes) for the icing: - 4 oz cream cheese - 2 tbsp milk - 2 c powdered sugar - mix icing and frost rolls
