Need some advice so for leg day I train calves on the Plate loaded leg press pushing with my toes. Im enjoying it but im at 223kg for it and doing progressive overload each session also with 2 sets till failure but the higher I get up in the weight I feel my back push up the pad would it be best to lower the weight but go for more reps I hope this makes sense :)

I use a over hand grip on a straight bar and then I do under hand and curl the bar with my fingers.
