True! I didn't take any long vacation from 2013 until 2025 when I retired. 😔 I don't like working on my vacation, so was only able to take a couple days at a time. So glad its over.

my job tried to cancel mine. I told them they owe me over 1000$ for hotel, and different dinner reservations then. showed them my online receipts. they told me to go 🤣

It depends on the company you work for here. Mine has a strict PTO policy that requires vacation and a minimum amount used per year.
