As a moderate Christian, I've never understood this talking point. "What's happening to refugees?" is a hilarious question. Either the refugees are following the rules by applying for asylum or waiting to enter the US legally, or they aren't following the rules and they enter the US illegally or overstay their Visa. It's important to remember that after fleeing from Herod, Mary, Joseph and Jesus did eventually leave Egypt after about 3 years.
