The iPhone mini — and one-handed phones in general — deserved better. Tech media latched onto the "battery sucks" narrative, which tanked both public perception and the industry's direction before the technology ever had a chance to improve. They killed a form factor that, ironically, more and more people are now casually admitting they actually want.
