I don’t know why it started, but for my daughter we’d buy the weirdest canned meat we could find at the grocery store. Various fishes… whole chicken in a can… etc. we said leprechauns were weird little mostly unpleasant creatures. Haha

I remember the classroom being destroyed and our leprechaun traps. It’s not like that anymore. “Only kinder” got visited by them yesterday. I felt so bad at how disappointed she was 😭

when I was in school in the late 1900s we would set traps to catch them. but they didn't leave gifts or treats. they caused mayhem like flipping the desks over. or making a mess. things like that.

I throw some green food coloring in the toilet or milk as a “trick” from the leprechaun and call it a day lol Raya does normally make a trap so I stage an “escape” but that’s all she’s getting out of me 😂
