that's a stapler not welder. if you want a real plastic welder the polyvance plastic welder is the only way to go

Bodyman here… those work but learning to plastic weld is easier.. it’s a cleaner Finnish and it’s waaay stronger. you got a few options.. iron is good if you know how to use it.. there are nitro welders that are amazing just gotta learn what plastic your working with! Hint PP is polypropylene!

The aluminum tape is just there to help you hold the broken piece of plastic in place while you staple it together definitely comes in handy is certain scenarios
