what I learned from my year full of hospitals and doctors because of depression and anxiety is: your body and mental health are readjusting. At some point you went too fast, tried too much. Your body doesn’t function that long on 150% energy and without realizing, your 100% are just 70% anymore. You’re still functioning but in a different way. Different pace, different speed. You need to learn to listen to your body and learn to find the balance in not running and not crawling. then for mental health issues is this a very thin line. once you found your crossing line - which is very sensitive and shows up at some point, you’ll find your way back into normality. sometimes this takes longer than for others and I know how hard it is to just take it as it is, but rushing yourself through it will only make it worse. take your time. be patient, especially with yourself and do things at a time. take time off - money always comes back, your health doesn’t. if you’re scared, let me tell you that it’s okay. it’s normal to be scared of changes that have an huge impact on your life. but this change means you’ll be better at understanding yourself, your boundaries and your needs. you’ll learn what important to you and what priorities you’ll need to set. you’re not less, you’re learning exactly what you are and what you have to offer. it will get better, to everyone who suffers exactly from this. I know because I‘m still on my healing progress and there’s this little light at the end of the tunnel. It took me long enough to see it, but it’s there. And I know whatever lays on my way, how many stones still will be thrown at me, I‘m not done yet. My journey just started, by learning to be friends with myself. ❤️
