Is it true 1 in 5 people don't make it to the ground?

Yup. Went in at 6am. Left at 6pm. Didn’t even jump bc it was too cloudy. Everyone just got refunded

And that’s what made it so relaxing to me. I saw like 100,000,000 people jump 3 hours before me and land safely

I used to work front desk at a skydiving center and the amount of people who used to YELL and get mad at ME because the weather wasn’t cooperating 😭 there’s so many FAA & USPA regulations that must be followed at all times and people don’t realize it! But the trick is to do it as early in the day as possible, usually morning weather is the best for it!

Keep in mind we don’t get paid unless we jump. We want to jump too, but I also don’t want to risk my well-being lmao. People will wait 3 hours for a Disney ride but tweak waiting for a life-changing experience lol.

I jumped out of a plane last summer, literally got there, did a 30 min safety course, got in the plane, and jumped all within an hour and a half🤷♀️so depends on where you go
