I had on my chart that they gave me pain med shot. They have never give me shot. Always ask for itemized bill

Because the insurance processed the claim, I'm not allowed to get any discounts for the very high bill my husband got for a colonoscopy that used to be covered 100%.

Also when you find they overcharged put complaint into Better Business bureau and other places. All of this info should be in a patieonts rights packet.. if they don't chances are the hospital or nursing facility should have a full forensic accounting and medical chart type investigation

tried that a few times with a Hospital. They claimed that sent it 3 separate times. problem comes into play when its a 3rd party billing /collections department
