@winchesterrose: ||: 11 years ago today, my life almost ended. I was 18 years old, a senior in high school, and silently carrying more pain than I knew how to handle. During one of the darkest moments of my life, I unintentionally almost lost my life to self harm. At the time, I couldn’t see a future for myself. But God did. Over the last 11 years I’ve grown in ways the younger version of me could never imagine. I’ve faced hardships, healed from deep wounds, rebuilt myself, and kept moving forward even when it wasn’t easy. There were moments I didn’t think I would make it through. But somehow, by grace, I did. Today I’m grateful to still be here. Grateful for the lessons. Grateful for the growth. Grateful that God gave me a second chance.
