@builtwithtools: The RV has a roof! This was quite the process. I feel pretty good about it though. I tried to find videos of other people doing this and I couldn’t. Is there any interest in a long form video explaining exactly how I did this? #rv #rvroof #rvrepair #rvrenovation #camper

I love how people think they have improved there Rv. Good luck with that in future. It might work if it was stationary but it’s a moving twisting vehicle. Shit will be leaking in 1 year Rubber roof is best option

I did the same thing about 10 years ago but I did it with one sheet no seems bought it from a place that builds and repairs semi trailers your idea with the sheets definitely easier to work with than one large roll but I guess with no seems or ways to leak the one peace roll has its advantages also.. It a lot of work either way you did a good job that roof will out last the rest of the camper

unfortunately this will sweat severely unless you lay down tons of some at least r13 across the whole roof and laid sheet metal on top of it you're leaving room for air which will build up into moisture unfortunately. or if you vacuum the sheet metal to foam that will eliminate that also like ATC does

I don't see why this wouldn't work better than a traditional RV roof less points to leak, but I'll be honest, I'm curious to see how it holds up long-term. Because I like the idea, just curious if it's gonna hold up better or not.
