@yass.unitedstates: An Afghan migrant who once worked alongside the U.S. military has died while in custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, sparking calls for an investigation. Mohammed Nazeer Paktiawal, 41, was detained in Texas while dropping his children off at school over alleged Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program fraud and an earlier theft arrest. According to officials, Paktiawal complained of chest pain and shortness of breath shortly after being taken to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Dallas field office and was transported to a hospital. The following morning, his tongue suddenly began to swell while he was eating breakfast. Despite multiple lifesaving attempts by medical staff, he died less than a day after his detention. His family says Paktiawal had served with Afghan special forces alongside U.S. troops and came to the United States during the evacuation under Operation Allies Refuge. His death is now under investigation, as relatives and community leaders demand answers and justice for the father of six. #ice #afghan #immigrant #usmilitary #died

they said doctors noticed his tongue swelled while eating breakfast sounds like the Afghan army did not report anything about his tongue or mouth problem but the doctor noticed while eating breakfast short after he died sounds like breakfast was poison

Eshan :
And this is exactly why many Iranians inside Iran might hesitate to fight against their government if they lose, they could end up like people in Afghanistan, forced to flee and seek refuge in the United States through programs like the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV), the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP), Temporary Protected Status (TPS), or humanitarian parole, only to face treatment like this.
