my biggest pet peeve of this movie was the compass. they made such a big deal that when it goes crazy then he's getting close. but by the time it goes crazy it can see you and you can see it?!

This was such a generic film honestly, which is a shame because it didn’t need aliens. The plot set up was totally fine without throwing in a half assed bad guy, this could’ve just been a film about a guy struggling to keep a promise
