Let’s go play with some real world conditions…mountain flying on a windy day. Thirty knots of wind whipping across this mountain peak made for a great training scenario. The first tailwind approach with a 180° turn back into the wind was good but got just a bit ahead of him. (Last post) On this second attempt he reads the wind, manages the approach, and flies it exactly the way it should be done. Stepping outside your comfort zone with a pro pilot who will keep you out of trouble while you try new things can really slingshot the learning curve. Nice flyin Ben!
