@allabouthedogau: In the 90s, early 2000s this would be put down to the dog having worms. Honestly, ask anyone over the age 35 what it means when a dog drags it behind along the ground and I could almost guarantee they’d tell you, the dog has worms. But with all the preventatives we have our dogs on today it’s very unlikely to be worms and more likely to be due to one of the following reasons. They have a standard old itch that needs scratching. They have passed something long e.g a long hair or piece of grass that is still stuck half way and is irritating them and they are trying to dislodge it. Or their anal glands are full and need expressing. So if your dog is excessively dragging their behind along the ground, most vets and groomers will express anal glands for your doggo or if your feeling brave watch a YouTube video and have a crack yourself!! #dogsofttiktok #dogpack #dogwalker #PetsOfTikTok
