@agrotonomy: Growing oregano in aeroponic towers begins by hydrating agricultural rock wool in reverse osmosis water for about twenty minutes. This step helps neutralize the naturally alkaline rock wool and prepares a stable environment for germination. After sowing, a thin layer of vermiculite keeps the seeds stable while maintaining the ideal air-to-water ratio. For oregano, we sow 10 seeds per cube of rock wool to produce full bunches. Once transplanted into the towers, oregano grows quickly and is ready within 5 weeks. We cut it just before flowering, when the essential oils are at their peak, delivering the strongest aroma and flavor.
