No gatekeeping over here, girlies!! 🤭🍑 These are the habits that ACTUALLY helped me transform my body, grow my glutes, and build the shape I wanted. And spoiler alert: it wasn’t doing 100 squats a day or starving myself. 😂 1️⃣ TRAINING WITH INTENTION I lift 4x a week, prioritizing my lower body 2x and upper body 2x. I stopped doing random exercises just because I saw another girl doing them on TikTok. Every workout has a PURPOSE. 2️⃣ PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD If you’re lifting the same weights, doing the same reps, and never challenging yourself, what reason are you giving your muscles to grow? 👀 I focus on getting stronger over time, whether that’s increasing my weights, reps, or improving my form. 3️⃣ EATING ENOUGH PROTEIN You cannot expect to build muscle if you’re not giving your body the nutrients it needs. I aim for around 0.7–1g of protein per pound of body weight. And YES, I still eat foods I enjoy. We’re not surviving on chicken and broccoli over here. 😂 4️⃣ UNDERSTANDING CALORIES I learned the difference between eating in a calorie deficit, at maintenance, and in a surplus. You don’t have to constantly be trying to lose weight! Sometimes building the body you want means actually eating MORE. 5️⃣ DAILY MOVEMENT I aim for 10–12k steps a day. Not because walking magically burns belly fat, but because staying active outside the gym supports my overall health, energy expenditure, and fat-loss goals. 6️⃣ PRIORITIZING RECOVERY More workouts ≠ more results. Your muscles need time to recover and grow. I stopped thinking I needed to destroy my glutes every single day to see progress. 7️⃣ CONSISTENCY OVER PERFECTION I still go out to eat. I still enjoy vacations. I still have days where I don’t feel like going to the gym. The difference? I don’t let one off day turn into three weeks of doing nothing. 8️⃣ FOLLOWING AN ACTUAL PLAN THIS ONE!! 👏🏽 I stopped walking into the gym wondering what I should do that day. Having a structured program that I could consistently progress with changed EVERYTHING. And please understand, this transformation didn’t happen overnight. It came from months of showing up, learning, making adjustments, and trusting the process. You don’t need to be perfect. You need to be intentional AND consistent. 🤍 And if you’re tired of guessing in the gym, I literally created my fitness app for girls like YOU. Structured workouts, exercise demonstrations, and a plan you can actually follow. Try it FREE for 7 days through the link in my bio! 🦋 Save this for later & follow for more realistic fitness advice. 💌 #Fitness #gym #glutes #workout #gymtips
