@undpnigeria: Through the #HerAfCFTA initiative, UNDP 🇳🇬, in partnership with Lelook Bag Academy, has equipped 100 young Nigerians, including women and persons with disabilities, with practical bag-making skills from design and pattern making to stitching, finishing and quality control. 18 graduates who are persons with disabilities have also received industry-grade startup equipment to help turn their skills into sustainable businesses and real economic opportunity. With access to the SMEDAN Solarized Facility Centre for shared production equipment, workspace and business development support, these young entrepreneurs are better positioned to grow, create and compete. By investing in skills, tools and inclusive opportunities, we are helping more young Nigerians take their place in the fashion and manufacturing value chains and unlock opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Area.
