I do my own vitals especially if I have to give Metoprolol, digoxin, or other meds that have parameters. I just need help from the aides when they are a daily weight

I don't understand.... vitals are not part of a CNA tasks where I work...and like somebody already said, it's part of the assessment, I always do my own.

I do my own vitals before I give each person their meds. It takes a while but ever since I gave a guy metoprolol without checking his BP first and had to send him out with 72/38 BP, I learned my lesson.
