Graham’s number is one of the largest numbers that has ever appeared in a serious mathematical proof. It was introduced by mathematician Ronald Graham in connection with a problem in Ramsey theory, a branch of mathematics that studies patterns and structures that inevitably appear when objects are arranged in certain ways.
