celamina is the only thing that definitely works for me! I struggle with consistency also and I found a grease a few years now and it have work wonders with helping me control my flakes when am not able to wash every week or 2 times a week because I think that will strip my hair of too moisture.

I use it EVERY WEEK to keep it calm …. It gives the illusion that it’s gone after a week or two but if you stop using it it comes back. There’s no cure only treatment it’s annoying cause I have locs 😭

My daughter's and I have the same condition. We have been using that Lotion for a few months now. However, we have not been consistent. I received my diagnosis a few years ago and I have gone through a few medications and it's the only thing that has worked for me.
