my dad started to do this. one day he was a little short for something and went into it. he seen a bunch of IOU papers from my mom. he laughed and took us all on a trip with what was left. good thing he did, both my parents passed before they retired. we had a great trip.

Y’all are here judging how someone is supposed to live their life😂😂do you know how hard it is to actually know you have money saved up in the same house you’re in for 20 years?😂😂 I wouldn’t even make it past the first weekend. This is discipline at its core, even if he saved 1k it would still be impressive

I have one, my dad made it for me when I was a baby. It’s a piece of Schedule 40 10” pipe, welded shut. To open it, I will need a bandsaw and some patience. He put money in it for 18 years, then I put money in it after that.. it’s followed me for 46 years and one day I will find out what’s in there. 😎
