This proves yall didn’t pay attention in history. A shogun ISNT a war general. It’s a title for a POLITICAL leader. Rikugun-Taishō is the general. Shogun is a chief commander, if speaking war wise. Generals and commanders are two different things. But being specific a shogun is a “military dictator” type of general. More like a boss. One who gives orders. do people not know they had to make the kimono shorter because of her fighting animations, it’s harder to animate with longer skirts without having simple animations, which if it was fan service then the would show her whole legs and not cover it up the best they could, yes there is still SOME fan service but the reason why they made it short is to make animation easier.

People kept saying "Billion dollar company", it doesn't matter how much a company makes, animating a long skirt/kimono is incredibly hard on a open-world game. A lot of things can happen if they do add long skirts years ago, the skirt could suddenly flip and reveal under the skirt. The game can still be buggy, no matter, people will still find a way to bug a certain character.

People have to understand teyvat is only similar to earth, how do you expect the world building of a game to be interesting if it just follows all the rules of our world... it's fiction for a reason, our rules don't apply there + not to mention that they barely give anyone long skirts in genshin because it's hard to animate
