For the people trying to claim Camila, she hasn’t said she’s Black OR white because she’s just Cuban, and in Cuban culture, identity comes first. This doesn’t erase anyone’s race of course. Cubans are proud of being Black, white, mixed, etc., but we also celebrate being Cuban as one united culture. GIRLSET already has a Black member (Savannah), so Camila representing Cubans doesn’t mean claiming a race. People need to respect her culture and let her represent her people 💖🇨🇺 (We cubans don’t care about race which is why shes likely only stated right now as just being Cuban 💖). This was a wonderful explanation!! I always get so happy when people understand how things in cuba work!
