Yea this assumes a DR is willing to write a prescription which doesn’t always happen from experience in exposure because ‘the risk is too small not worth it’ It shouldn’t require a MD order.

This happened to me at the beginning, and the height of the AIDS . Had to get blood taken every week.The waiting was horrible. No one knew anything about the virus at the time.

The amount that medicine has come since the beginnings of HIV/AIDS is amazing. My brother passed in 1992. Sorry, the stigma hasn't gone away, though.
