They deliberately chose to give another person your suite and downgrade your stay without any notification or compensation should be grounds for a lawsuit. If carnival doesn’t do anything talk to a free lawyer, I’m sure the price difference between the room you got and the room you paid for is pennies for them but a big deal to you
