4oz flour, 4 eggs, 4fl oz milk, put flour in bowl, make a dip in the middle, add eggs, fold through thr flour slowly add milk. put oil in your dish, whack oven on high, once oil is boiling, add mixture and cook. Yorkshire pudding no chance of failing

My mum remembers her Yorkshire grandparents serving Yorkshire pudding before the main meat course. It was meant to fill you up so you didn’t eat as much meat!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to you, but I have to tell you, and please don’t be disappointed, but brother, sticky toffee pudding has dates as a primary ingredient. However, if they have been chopped up properly they sort of melt into the pudding and make it sticky. Welcome to our country and do enjoy yourself here. Now do crack on!

If you like Yorkshire pudding you need to try toad in the hole. It’s sausages cooked in Yorkshire pudding batter, best smothered in gravy. Top tier version is the sausages wrapped in bacon before cooking.

If you like architecture go to Durham cathedral it has a church within the cathedral building, it was built between 1093-1133 and Buxton the Rome baths and the crescent was built in the 1 century AD

Nothing to do with wars and rationing it goes back hundreds of years it was served as a starter with gravy before having a roast beef meal to bulk out the food in your stomach as buying beef was both very hard to get and very expensive
