It’s entertaining but in what world do you want to see the drivers lifting and coasting instead of being “full attack?” There are parts of the regs I like, smaller, lighter, more nimble cars. But the 50/50 ICE vs Battery is just ridiculous virtue signaling bullshit

What’s wrong is that it’s a 50/50 split of motor and battery , even the CEO of formula E said that F1 is going in the wrong direction. This years F1 cars are slower than last years cars and slower than this years formula E cars. You could say that the drivers have to get used to the cars but F1 is supposed to be “the pinnacle of motor sports” which implies loud engines and top speeds but these new regulations take all that away. Not saying the racing is bad, bc that was a beautiful performance by Ferrari, but the direction in which F1 is going with their cars is more of the problem.

Passes on track are great! Problem is 3rd is 25 seconds back. 5th is 57 seconds back. Two cars in the points were lapped. The only car the Ferrari had to race with was the other Ferrari.
