Another piece of advice, try to avoid charging anything overnight if possible. Too many cases of faulty batteries catching fire randomly. Easiest prevention is to charge your devices during the day when you can monitor any strange behavior

Charging phones and laptops on a bed is unsafe because soft surfaces (blankets, pillows) insulate the device, preventing heat from escaping and causing overheating causing fires.
