I will do individual videos for each dog but here’s a quick recap of my day at East Valley with @Ari lara ♥️ 🐾 Cinnamon A2212237 Cinnamon’s story is absolutely heartbreaking. She’s been at the shelter since July and has been placed in five foster homes, all of which ended almost immediately through no fault of her own. One placement involved a domestic violence situation where she was put into boarding before being returned. Another foster didn’t work out because dogs were introduced too quickly. Cinnamon has never truly been given the time or setup she deserves, and she’s been stuck in this cycle of brief hope followed by return 🐾 Juno A2246903 4 years old | At the shelter since December 3 (possible owner surrender).Juno was one of my favorites of the day. She’s incredibly sweet, very well rounded, knows her basics (sit, handshakes), happily let us dress her up, and would likely do great with kids. A lower energy girl who would be an amazing companion in a calm home. 🐾 Potter A2212823 At first, Potter wasn’t very interested in us he kept to himself and didn’t really engage. But once he spotted a toy, something lit up. You could see this playful side come out, and suddenly he was sweet, engaged, and just… a dog enjoying himself. Potter has been at the shelter since July with very little interest. 🐾 Bert A2213886 Bert is very high energy, but he is so sweet. Inside his kennel, he just waits quietly hoping someone will notice him. Volunteers try to take him out as often as possible because he has so much energy, and being stuck in a kennel is really hard on him. He needs movement, stimulation, and a home where he can thrive instead of deteriorating behind bars. 🐾 Chako A2215130 Chako is a volunteer favorite and it’s easy to see why. He’s incredibly sweet, friendly, and affectionate. Despite being in the shelter since August, he genuinely seems like a happy dog. He loves people, loves attention, and has such a warm, easygoing presence. 🐾 Clifford A2246447 Clifford is a stunning German Shepherd with the most beautiful red orange coat ..truly unique and eye catching. He seems very calm and gentle, and would likely do best as a companion dog. He feels like the kind of dog who would thrive with a family or individual looking for a loyal, steady presence. 🐾 Milo A2241819 We weren’t able to walk Milo because he’s feeling a little under the weather, but he seemed like an absolute angel. He was so eager and desperate to come out, and it was heartbreaking not being able to take him. Even from inside his kennel, his gentle, loving personality was so clear.
