@pkittass: Some of my neuropathy side effects from 5-FU and oxaliplatin have gotten worse. It wasn’t bad in the beginning, but now on round 11 it has progressed to the point where it hurts to walk. I’m also experiencing other unusual side effects like jaw locking and eye pain when I cry. #cancertok #cancerjourney #coloncancer #neuropathy #chemosideaffects
Omg 😂😂😂 im not the only one, it’s the side effect I dislike the most cuz I love cold drinks

Yes, the coldness affects my hands and my mouth like my lips and throat. If it’s a really cold day and I stay outside for a bit it affects my whole body with tingles. I also lose my balance from time to time. Today was my 10 round of chemo I got 2 more to go. My oncologist has dropped the oxiplatin to 80% next round will be discontinued as he doesn’t want it to become permanent and painful.

As I was suffering with Neuropathy I felt people looking at me like I was drunk when I walked! My oncologist's best advice was to use a cane!😂

My dr took me off Oxaliplatin after 10 months but 4 years later I still have neuropathy in my feet and hands. The cold sensitivity did go away thankfully.

5-fu is exactly how I feel about that drug! I still can't feel my fingers.

The neuropathy is unreal, but the real kicker is it can get even worse after! Between 3-5 months after, it really becomes numb. I’m always tripping because my feet feel so weird!
