If you realize division is just grouping, it’s not that complicated. -8 broken into groups of -2 gives you 4 groups. -8 broken into 2 groups gives you -4 in each group.

for me i like to think 8/-2 Is just 8-2 Until it get to zero.Just like multiplication but instead of adding a number up its minus a postive number until it become a zero,Hence a the result also become negetive because the Minus operation,and maybe,correct me if im wrong

cant we use the measurement method on the 2nd one? like how many 2 make up -8 isnt it also -4 since if you have -1 of 2 then you have -2 in total, so -4 two's would be -8
