In the OCC’s proposed rules, bank examiners aren’t just reviewing policies from a distance, they’re given direct authority to access officers, directors, employees, and agents, along with books, records, and documents of any kind. That means real oversight. Real accountability. Real enforcement power. So when people say digital assets or stablecoins are “unregulated,” that’s not quite right.
