@basegodstilllovesyou: When I first started playing Persona 4, I never paid much mind to Kanji. I mean, I found him funny and his dungeon interesting, but I was more invested in characters like Yosuke and Chie. That is until I realized I am bisexual. Then Kanji sort of became a guiding light for me. He showed me you can still be a man while having traits that aren’t considered masculine, and he’s also given me the courage to be more open about my sexuality. I relate to Kanji so much its unreal. I've loved sewing and cute shit since I was little, but was afraid of being called girly or gay. I think his arc of learning to not be so afraid is beautiful, and easily one of the best in persona.
