@cookwithhali: Sourdough Ciabatta Ingredients • 100 g active starter (½ cup) • 350 g flour (2 ¾ cups) • 285 g water (1 ¼ cup) • 3 tbsp olive oil • 1 tsp salt ⸻ Instructions 1. In a bowl mix water + starter + flour. Cover and rest 40 min. 2. Add salt + oil, mix it in well. Do 1 coil fold immediately, cover and rest 30 min. 3. Wet your hands and do a coil fold. Repeat until you complete 3 coil folds total. 4. Cover and leave for 4 hours or until doubled. 5. Line a tray with parchment paper and dust generously with flour. Gently transfer the dough onto the tray without deflating it. 6. Lightly flour the top, then gently stretch the dough from the sides. Divide into 4 pieces and carefully separate them to keep the air inside. 7. Let them rest for 20 minutes while the oven is fully preheated (at least 40 minutes). 8. Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 15 minutes, then reduce to 380°F (193°C) and finish baking for about 15 minutes until golden. ⸻ #sourdough #sourdoughbread #sourdoughtok #sourdoughbaking #ciabatta
Was it supposed to be 3tsp of oil not tbsp? Mine seems so oily it won’t mix in?

Definitly 3 tsp instead of 3 tbsp, recipe turned out way too wet. Added a lot of extra flour to compensate.

Not as beautiful as in the video, but they turned out perfect! 😍 Very fluffy and so easy to make compared to a bigger loaf! I used just normal flour and tap water, but they still turned out amazing!

Hi! Do you shape it at the end before you bake, or just divide the dough and bake straight away,
